TFT Stands for "Thin Film Transistor" TFT is a display screen technology that is a form of TFT LCD which uses thin film transistor (TFT) technology to improve image quality.

TFT LCDs are found in low end smartphones and feature phones, and TFT is used on computer monitors, laptops, tablets, TVs, mobile displays, video game displays, personal digital assistants (PDAs), navigation systems, and projectors.

How TFT LCDs works?

TFT is an old technology, on a TFT LCDs, each pixel has a transistors on its own glass, which controls the image and color. Transistor on the screen of TFT LCDs is very small, hence it provides great quality even in low power, though TFT LCDs can give good quality, but in more light, its viewing angles are very poor, meaning that when you see the display side, then the quality of the picture is poor.
